Hotel Le Rocher
The Hotel Le Rocher opened in December 2003 and within its first season became a firm favourite with Ski 2 guests. Constructed using local wood and stone in a traditional style, the hotel is situated between the Hotel Petit Tournalin and the Hotel California in a clearing in the pine woods and an easy 9 minute walk to our ski deposit. The hotel was originally given a 3* rating but has recently acquired 4* status, which is well deserved.
A hotel is only as good as its owners and Charlotta (Lotta) and Guilio run Le Rocher as if it were their own home. They offer a very warm welcome and excellent traditional cuisine.
“Le Rocher ? Food fabulous apparently – Dad’s neighbour is highly recommending it. He has been there every year for nearly a decade!” quotes a Ski 2 client.
“Despite being a little out of the village centre, this was no problem as there was always a lift available (betweeen the hotel and the bottom of the main lift) from Ski 2 or the hotel. The sauna and steam room were great after a day’s skiing” commented another guest after a recent stay at the hotel.
