Get to Champoluc

When it comes to travelling to Champoluc, we know that flexibility is important for you so we don’t include it in our holiday packages. This means that you choose where you depart from, what mode suits you best and when you arrive. We do include return airport transfers in our prices and we have a wealth of knowledge about getting to the resort by air, road and rail to share with you.

By Air

We don’t put any restrictions on the day and time you can arrive if you fly. All you have to do is ask us to reserve the hotel you would like before you book your flights. Once you’ve booked your flights, tell us and we’ll arrange your transfers.

When you arrive at your chosen airport, your private transfer will be waiting for you ready to whisk you off to Champoluc for the start of an unforgettable holiday. If there are other Ski2 customers on your flights, we may arrange a shared transfer but in most cases your transfer will be private.

We always aim to pick you up in one of our Ski2 vehicles driven by our staff, but if this isn’t possible then we have fantastic relationships with local, reputable taxi companies who will be waiting for you on your arrival. Whatever the vehicle, one of our helpful staff will meet you in the Arrivals Hall to make sure that your transfer to the resort is quick and hassle free.

If you want to fly in and out of different airports, then we’re more than happy to arrange transfers for this too.

  • A breakdown of our Transfer Policy
    • We arrange transfers to collect you from and take you back to your chosen airport
    • Our transfers are ‘private’ for each flight so you won’t spend time at the airport waiting for Ski 2 guests to arrive on a later flight
    • For your flight back to the UK, we allow a reasonable time to drive you to the airport allowing two hours for check in
    • We can’t accept responsibility for missed flights in the event that the circumstance is beyond our control (bad weather conditions, unforeseen traffic problems)
    • If you do miss your flight for the above reason, we offer support and advice to help you get home

Travelling to Champoluc by car

Driving to the resort is one of the best ways to take in the breathtaking landscape. It’s an easy 12-hour drive from the French ports to Champoluc, with travellers either using the Channel Tunnel or a cross-channel ferry. The majority of the route is on motorways, but with the last couple of hours winding up and through the mountains you’ll enjoy the stunning scenery as you begin your holiday. The quickest route is through the Mont Blanc tunnel, via the outskirts of Geneva. To make a real trip of it, we suggest a stop en-route overnight in France.

  • We offer discounts on our usual prices if you’re driving – contact us to find out more
  • The tolls are around 100 euros each way and the cost of the Mont Blanc tunnel for a car is 40 euros return, valid for two weeks
  • If you’re not able to arrive on a Sunday to stay for 7 nights (our usual timeline) then please contact us and we’ll be happy to look at other options for you.
